Calicut University Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
- UG Courses: The applicants who desire to pursue UG courses at SDE UOC are required to complete their 10+2 education or its equivalent from a recognised board with at least 45% marks.
- PG Courses: To become eligble t pursue PG degree courses at Calicut University SDE applicants must have a valid bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream with at least 50% marks.
- Distance MBA: SDE UOC offer admission to MBA courses to applicants who have a UG degree with not less than 50% marks or its equivalent from any UGC approved University.
- Other Backward Communities will be allowed a concession of 5% in the minimum marks required for admission to all programs.
- There is no maximum age limit for admission to any specialised programs.

SDE UOC ABC ID
The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is an initiative that has been started by the Ministry of Education under the NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 guidelines. Students who wish to enroll in any course at Calicut University distance education must create an ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) ID before getting registered. Credit scores and academic certificates will be stored and can be transferred in the ABC ID of a student. Students can transfer credits if they switch to another institution or program.
