The UG program lasts 3 years, and the maximum time taken by students to complete the course is 5 years. 

The online admission window is open for all programs at BAOU for the 2026-27 session. The last day to apply for any specialised UG program is 31 March 2026. The registration fee required for admission in the academic year 2026-27 is INR 300. Students keen to apply for the desired undergraduate course must pass the 10+2 exam with 50% marks. BAOU PG Admission 2026

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University distance education provides several courses for postgraduate programs. Some of the courses are MBA, MCom, MSc, MA, and MLISc. Specialisations offered under these postgraduate courses are Environmental Science, Hospital & Health Care Management, Zoology, Psychology, Telugu, etc. The duration of the PG academic course is 2 years, divided into 4 semesters.

The registration fee for the PG courses at BAOU is INR 300. Students shall secure high marks in their graduation degree in any discipline. The minimum aggregate marks required is 40% (for the general category) and 35% is required for the reserved category. The tuition fee for the PG courses each semester is between INR 5300 to INR 70000. 

BAOU Diploma Admission 2026

The duration to complete the diploma course at BAOU distance education is 1 year. The maximum duration taken by the students to complete the PG program is 3 years. The eligibility criteria may vary depending on the specialisation of the courses. Human Rights, Culture & Heritage Tourism, Financial Management, and Marketing Management are some of the disciplines offered through the diploma program. 

Students must pass the graduation to get admission to selected diploma courses. Various specialisations offered under certificate courses are diplomas in computer applications, diplomas in hospital administration, and many others. The registration fee for several courses is INR 300, whereas the tuition fee starts at INR 4000 to INR 15000.

BAOU Certificate Admission 2026

The duration to complete a certificate course at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) distance education is 6 months. Basic eligibility criteria may vary depending on the specialisation of the courses. Students must pass the 10th grade or 10+2 examination to get admission for certificate courses. Admission has start at BAOU for all certificate courses, and candidates can apply until 31 March 2026.
