KSOU UG Course Admission 2025

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) provides opportunities to candidates to choose undergraduate courses like BA, BBA, BCom, BLibISc, BSc, BSW, and BCA through distance education. Applicants can apply for these courses once the online portal is open for the session 2025-26. The last date for 2025 admission is around 15 October 2025*. KSOU (Karnataka State Open University) closed the portal for admission to the Master of Arts (MA) covering several specializations through distance mode.  The following disciplines offered through the MA program are Kannada, History, Sociology, Telugu, Public Administration, Education, Urdu, Sanskrit, etc. MA program offered through distance mode lasts for 2 years, offering 4 semesters.  

The qualification for admission is to hold a degree in any specialization from a recognized university. A minimum of 50% marks is needed for admission. The deadline for admission is expected to be 30 July 2025.  THE KSOU MA admission fee is set to be INR 11000. 

KSOU Diploma Course Admission 2025

Diploma in Journalism, Nutrition and Health Education, Information Technology, Computer Application, Early Childhood Care and Education, Translation Studies, etc, are the specializations available for eligible candidates at KSOU. For the 2025-26 session, the admission process has open and the admission 2025 last date is around 30 July 2025*. The selection is done depending on the marks obtained by a candidate in their higher secondary education. 

Diploma courses usually last for 1 year at KSOU, offering examinations that are based on a semester. Students have to deposit an amount of ₹5800-16500 annually as an admission fee of various diploma programs. At the time of getting registered one shall pay an application fee as specified by the university. 

KSOU Certificate Course Admission 2025

Students can pursue various certificate courses through distance mode at KSOU. Some of them include Panchayath Raj, Nutrition and Food, Information Communication Technology, and Translation Studies. The admission to these courses is based on the minimum marks scored by a candidate in their senior secondary examination. 6 months is the minimum duration provided to candidates to complete the respective certificate program. 

The admission fee for all certificate courses at KSOU ranges from ₹6400 to ₹11300, depending on the course specialization. Apart from the admission fee, applicants will also have to pay an additional application fee, which can range between ₹500-₹800.
