Master of Physical Education Distance Education: MPEd, also known as Master of Physical Education, is a 2-year postgraduate specialized program offered through regular mode. Some university offers a semester-based examination, and this course consists of 4 semesters. The main objective of this program is to provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge and practical and theoretical skills to meet their personal and professional goals in the fields of physical education and exercise science. Several UGC-approved universities are currently accepting applications for the MPEd program for the academic session 2026-27. A candidate can fill out an application form till the expected last date of 30 January 2026.

As per university guidelines, candidates who have completed their bachelor’s in Physical Education are selected for admission. Some universities admit students as on their performance in a respective entrance examination. CUET, MAH BPEd CET, BHU BPEd test, ITM NEST, and LPU PET are some entrance exams accepted by universities. Candidates have to pay an MPEd course fee of INR 20000 to INR 130000.
