GITAM University Distance Education: GITAM University, Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) will soon start the admission window for the 2026- 27 academic year. The university offers B.A, B.Com and M.A English programs in distance mode. Applicants who wish to take admission at GITAM University CDOE, can apply directly without taking any entrance exam. Gitam University Distance Education admission in UG courses requires students to pass their 12th grade from a recognised board and clear their Bachelor’s degree for the PG courses. GITAM University of CDOE is going to start their admission process very soon for the 2026 session. It is expected that the admission window will open from 10th February 2026 for the UG and PG programmes. The university offers Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Master of Arts (MA) in English through its Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE). Candidates are required to check the eligibility requirements carefully before applying.

To pursue the B.A and B.Com program, students have to pass their 10+2 in any stream with 45% to 50% aggregate from a certified  board. For the M.A English, candidates have to complete their graduation in any discipline. Entrance exams are not taken by the university for any program. Candidates can seek direct admission. GITAM University Distance Education will open the registration portal soon for its undergraduate (UG) programs. Students must apply for admission in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs through distance mode. These programs take only 3 years to complete and it is divided into 6 semesters.

To be qualified for UG programs, students must complete their senior secondary education (10+2) or equivalent examination from a certified board or the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh. The university does not require any entrance test. Students can seek admission on the basis of their merit grade. An average fee range for these programs costs INR 2,500 per semester.

GITAM University Distance Education PG Admission 2026 

Admission for postgraduate (PG) programs at GITAM University Distance Education is going to be open soon for the 2026- 27 academic year. Those who are interested in taking admission, are advised to check the site of university for regular updates. The university offers a Master of Arts degree in English at postgraduate level  through open and distance learning mode.

To be eligible for admission, candidates should complete their 3 to 4 years of Bachelor’s degree in any field from a UGC approved university. Since this program is an English specialization, having proficiency in the English language is necessary. It is a 2 year program and its fees start from INR 22,000 to INR 25,000 for the entire duration.

Step: 5 Enter your personal details, educational details and contact details at the portal. 

Step: 6 Submit the required documents including signature and photographs. 

Step: 7 Check the application form carefully and submit for the next process. 

Step: 8 Complete the application form by making a payment of INR 500 as application fee. 

Step: 9 Wait for the confirmation which is sent by the university after verification.

GITAM University Distance Education Fee Structure 2026

Fee structure of GITAM University, Centre for Distance & Online Education is quite reasonable than other private open universities. The university charges INR 500 as application fee, INR 1,000 as registration fee, INR 750 for UG exam and INR 1,000 for PG exam fee.
