Sree Sankaracharya University Distance Education: Registration has started in Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit for the academic session 2026. programs include BA, BFA, MSW, MA, MFA and MSC with several specialisations. Applicants have to fill out the admission form online and pay an application fee of INR 150/-. About University: Sree Sankaracharya University was established in 1993. It focuses on providing Sanskrit literature & languages, Indian languages & philosophy, social science, etc. it is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and accredited by NAAC with an A grade. It has regional centres located in Ettumanoor, Panmana, Thiruvananthapuram, Payyannur, kalady, Koyilandy, and Tirur. Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit distance education is accepting online applications for UG and PG programs offered in online mode. The last date of registration is expected to be 28 February 2026, along with the submission of the documents. Admission will be confirmed after the payment of the application fee of INR 150, online via payment gateways provided by the university. It is to remind all the students to create their ABC ID before registering. 

For UG courses, admission will be merit-based, given that applicants have passed their 10+2 examination. For PG programs, selection will be based on the entrance examination conducted by the university along with an interview round. The UG course fee will range around INR 1200 TO INR 1500/-, and the PG fee will be around INR 1500/- to INR 40,000/-. Sree Sankaracharya University Distance Education UG Admission 

Students can apply to undergraduate courses at sree sankaracharya university of sanskrit distance education for 2026 session. Programs are UGC approved and are offered in online mode. University offers a BA program for 3 years with 6 semesters and a BFA program for 4 years with 8 semesters. To be eligible for admission applicants must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination recognised by this university.

For the BA music and dance program, an aptitude test will be held by the university. The maximum age limit is 22 years old. Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit distance education charges UG fee around INR 1250/- to INR 3000/- per year.

Sree Sankaracharya University Distance Education PG Admission

Admission to the PG program at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit for the 2026 academic session will be based on the entrance test and interview conducted by the university. Students can fill out the online admission form for PG degree programs like  M.A., M.Sc., M.S.W., M.P.E.S, Disaster Management and M.F.A. These courses are run for a course period of 2 years and 4 semesters.

Students must have a bachelor’s degree or any other degree recognised by this university under 10+2+3 / 10+2+4 / 10+2+5 pattern. They must have secured 50% to 55% marks. The university will conduct aptitude and practical tests for the MA dance and music program. Students who have completed their PG program in regular mode can apply for the PG program, but shall not be eligible for fee concession. PG course fee will range from INR 1500/- to INR 40,000/- annually.

Undergraduate courses

• Students must not exceed the maximum age limit of 22 years old as on 1st day of June 2026. 
• Students must have passed the 10+2 examination VHSC or any other equivalent examination recognized by this university. 
• Applicants with sanskrit or non-sankrit background can also apply for admission. 
• Students have to qualify an aptitude test for BA music and dance and BFA program. 

Postgraduate courses

• Students must have a bachelor degree from this university or a degree recognized by this university. 
• students must have scored at least 50% to 55% mark in the qualifying examination. 
• Applicants must be below 28 years age as on 1st July 2026. 
• Applicants have to qualify the Entrance Examination and  Interview conducted by the university. 
• Students already enrolled in another PG program shall not be eligible for admission.
