About Lalit Narayan University
Lalit Narayan University is a public university that offers regular mode programs in India. It is formerly known as Mithila University, and it is situated in Darbhanga, Bihar. The university started offering admission from the academic session 1972-73. As per the NAAC ranking, LNMU has been awarded a B++ grade. For the current session 2026-27, the university is offering BTech, BLISc, and BEd courses through the undergraduate program. Students can choose to take a B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering and Bioinformatics. Those who pursue B.Tech programs can complete their course in 4 years.
Candidates who want a bachelor’s degree in any course have to pass out an intermediate exam with a minimum of 50% marks. LNMU Distance Education Application Form
Students wishing to apply for UG and PG courses at the university must provide consent within the specified time period. A prospectus containing all the necessary information regarding enrollment in DDE courses is available for download. For online admission, aspirants must submit their application form online after filling in the details. A student must pay an application fee to complete the online admission process at the university.
Students must provide their contact information, academic information, and personal information when applying to LNMU Distance Education. The login details will also be sent to the email address and mobile number registered with the account. Logging in with a username and password allows students to upload scanned documents, photographs, or signatures.
