Students who are looking to study BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Humanities must apply to Madurai Kamaraj University’s distance education. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) does not require state or national-level entrance exams for admission to its distance education programs. There is no age limit for applying to any of its distance learning courses. For undergraduate programs, applicants must have completed 10+2 grades. Additionally, for postgraduate programs, applicants must hold a graduation degree in a relevant field. • Distance BCom: The university offers a B.Com degree with distance education. To be eligible, the candidate must have passed any of the above exams with at least 40% aggregate marks (5% reservation for SC/ST)

Students who wish to enrol for the academic cycle 2026-27 need to follow the steps given below: 

Step 1:  Candidates must visit the university’s official website and read the prospectus provided by Maharishi Dayananda University before applying for their desired course. 

Step 2: Candidates should make sure they fulfil all requirements for enrollment. 

Step 3: Now, click on the “Register Now” button. 

Step 4: Create an applicant ID by providing an email ID, ID proof, and phone number. 

Step 5: Now, you can sing in using your applicant ID and password. 

Step 6: Fill out all important documents required. 

Step 7: Students must upload all the documents mentioned in the application form. 

Step 8: Incomplete application will be rejected. 

Step 9: Pay a registration fee using available mode of payment.
