About the University of North Bengal

University of North Bengal, commonly known as North Bengal University, is a public university that was established in 1962. It is located in Siliguri, West Bengal. North Bengal University BLibISc Admission Process 2025

Admission to various UG and PG programs will be done online at North Bengal University distance education for the session 2025-26. The applicants have to generate their ABC ID before applying for the preferred course. The applicant has to register his/ her email address, contact no. and other details for registration. After carefully going through the prospectus, the applicant shall fill up the application form, subject to and make payment of course fees and other fees. The payment may be made online using a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. The submission of the online application form will be done until the last date of 20 September 2025*. An undergraduate program can be completed within a span of 3 years. However, students can take a maximum time of 5 years to complete the same.

NBU Distance Education PG Admission 2025

University of North Bengal PG Admission 2025-26 has started via distance education for MA programs. Applicants must have completed their bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 50% to become eligible for the PG courses offered by the university. The university offers various specializations under M.A. in Bengali, History, Nepali, Mathematics, Political Science, etc. Applicants will be able to fill out the online application form until the last date of 20 September 2025*.
