Panjab University Distance Education Admission 2025-26: Panjab University distance education offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, advanced diploma, and certificate programs. For the current session 2025-26 the university will soon start inviting the eligible applicants to get admission to any program. A candidate seeking admission to any of the distance learning programs must apply by the expected last date of 20 June 2025*. Admission is offered based on the academic score of a candidate. The admission process at Panjab University through distance mode is entirely based on both online and offline. Students who want to pursue any higher qualification distance learning program can apply through the university’s official website. Students who meet all the basic admission criteria can apply for admission to any selected course. 20 July 2025* will be the last date declared by the university for enrolling at PU distance education for the session 2025-26. A payment of INR 1050 is required as an appplication fee and that can be paid using both online and offline mode of payment. Panjab University UG Admission 2025

Students can choose different undergraduate specialized courses at Panjab University through distance education. For the session 2024-25 the university offers BEd, BCom, BLISc, BA in Public Administration, Political Science, History, Mathematics, and Statistics. The duration to complete the bachelor’s program is 3 years with 6 semesters. Admission to undergraduate programs for the academic year 2025-26.

If students want to join any undergraduate program they need to pass a 10+2 examination or an equivalent from a reputed university. As per the NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 guidelines, ABC ID is a national level facility to promote flexibility of students providing easy going credit transfer. An ABC ID can be created in DigiLocker using various methods, including the web portal, mobile app, and the simplest method, QR code scanning. The step-by-step procedure for students to create their ABC ID is given below that students need to follow: 

Step 1: Visit the DigiLocker Portal using any web browser. 

Step 2: Click on the “Sign in” button on the top corner, if you are a new user then click on the “Sign up” button. 

Step 3: Fill all the required information as asked and set six-digit login PIN

for additional security 

Step 4: Now, click on the submit button. 

Step 5: Enter the OTP that was sent to the registered mobile and hit the “Submit” button again. 

Step 6: A new account will be created. 

Step 7: Once done sign in to the digilocker account by entering the registered credentials. 

Step 8: Enter the registered mobile number, followed by security PIN. 

Step 9: Now, enter the OTP and click on the Submit Button.
