About University: The Centre for Distance Education (CDOE), renamed from the Center for Open and Distance Learning (CODL) in accordance with the UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020, was founded in 2011 with the goal of spreading knowledge and providing high-quality education in the open and distance learning mode. Minimum marks of 50% is mandatory to get admission in these distance courses.

Tezpur University offers various PG Diploma and Diploma courses under its CDOE for session 2026. Diploma in Child Rights and Governance, Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Environmental and Disaster Management are the diploma programs provided by the university. Admission to these courses requires a relevant bachelor’s degree certificate with a minimum score of 50%. Eligibility Criteria for Tezpur University Distance Education

Admission eligibility for the Tezpur University Distance Education Program may vary depending on the course you are going to pursue. Eligibility for each course, including UG, PG and Diploma are different. Tezpur University of Distance Education does not offer any UG courses under CDOE. For PG and Diploma courses, students have to first complete their bachelor’s degree course with a minimum passing mark of 50%. There are no age restrictions for students.
